School Based Therapist

Job Purpose
Friendship House is collaborating with the Carbondale Area School District to hire a school-based therapist to work in the District for the 2023-2024 school year. The candidate will work a 40 hour week and follow the school schedule. The selected candidate will work closely with District staff to support students identified by the District who need mental health counseling services.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social work licensed preferred, but not required with experience in treating children and adolescents with mental health issues and their families.
